I've been seeing culottes -- one of my all-time never-ever-wear offending clothing items, on some sites showing spring trends and clothing lines. They are never flattering! The swingy fabric between the legs is just too much -- wear a skirt if you want all that swishing. I'm okay with gauchos because they're kind of like capris crossed with tailored pants (both styles being favorites), but culottes must be banned!!!

Sat, February 11, 2006 - 10:39 AMI went to a dance at my son's school last night and about 40 people had these hideous microfiber-ish gauchos adorned with assymetrical belts. They made everyone look fat. I think they are not flattering on anyone. -

Sat, April 29, 2006 - 7:21 AMNo Gauchos, no culottes EVER!! They were ugly in the 70's and they are ugly now. If you want to wear something that is a little more sophisticated than your plain old shorts, what about the bermuda shorts styled from last season?
